Aaron Reed is a Servant Leader
A Lifetime of Service
Aaron Reed was born and raised in Shelby County, where he currently lives on his family’s farm with his wife, Sarah, and their six children. He is a graduate of Shelby County High School (1995) and Morehead State University (1999). A devout Christian, Aaron and Sarah both attend Heritage Christian Fellowship located in Cropper, KY.
Aaron has lived a life of service, beginning when he proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout from Troop 164. After graduating from college, Reed felt called to enlist in the United States Navy and became a member of the elite Navy SEAL Teams. As a SEAL, he traveled the world protecting American interests through multiple combat deployments. Reed recently retired from the Navy after nearly 23 years as a Special Operations Senior Chief.
Aaron operates two small businesses in Shelby County centered around his passion for firearms. Kodiak Koating, located in Shelbyville, is a Cerakote application shop focused on the manufacturing of custom firearms. Ops Supply, located in Simpsonville, is a firearms and archery retail store.
The company also supplies law enforcement agencies and trains the general public in firearm safety. Aaron has collectively employed more than two dozen Shelby Countians over the past ten years.
